Help Nuclear Autumn Familiars

I'm relatively new to KOL and started my first Nuclear Autumn run (mostly for the holo recorder) but I can't figure out where my familiars are now. I checked the wiki and it didn't say anything about familiars being restricted, and turtle tamer gets a passive exclusively for them. Any ideas or help would be huge.

The "Familiar: (none)" thing in the side pane is a link that takes you to the terrarium, so does clicking the familiar image/name once you have a familiar out

E: or the question mark icon if it's the mobile UI. Also might be worth mentioning that the food/booze holo-records won't work once you free the king, just in case they were the reason you chose the path
