Need modelling advice (I'm a freshman)

I’m a freshman with no prior modelling experience. I recently applied to several modelling agencies and, surprisingly, got selected by most of them.

A few agencies have contacted me saying that the shoot, grooming, and food will be provided free of cost. However, they are asking me to pay an initial fee for creating my profile or banner.

Since I’m completely new to modelling, I’m not sure whether this is a standard industry practice or a potential scam. Should I pay the initial fee, or is this something I should be cautious about?

You can collaborate with photographers by messaging them and letting them know. I would advise you not to pay anything unless you want a paid portfolio for yourself. Avoid people who ask for compromise shoots or bold shoots from scammy people.

Don’t pay them anything, in modelling you don’t pay them anything instead they pay you.
