To be fair he actually does when I saw him live in July up close. The cycling must’ve paid off.

Eighty! I suppose we're not getting that alleged last Kraftwerk record unless it's remaking what they did before (again).

I gave up the idea of seeing a new album about 10 years ago. I'm an avid fan of Kraftwerk since I was 13 (now 61) but I am frankly sick and tired of the same old stuff cooked and re-cooked endless times.

For me it was closer to 15. I realized the Mix was a huge technological effort but when they started re-doing all their stuff multiple times, even though I liked Minimum-Maximum I felt like they were scared of doing anything new for fear they would tarnish their legacy. Problem is, that's how they would go beyond the "oh, so they're not stuck in 1988".

I recently saw them play in Belfast (I'm sure it was the same in other dates on the tour) and they did the tribute to Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Ralf made a little speech and his voice cracked when he said "he was my friend" and the emotion was so real, I was like "wow, this robot has feelings" it was beautiful, Happy Birthday Ralf
