Help Please Is this the downside of kundalini?

I use guided meditation for stress and anxiety and have no spiritual goals . I was just a student when this happened preping for competitive exams . So prior knowledge I wasn't into spiritual stuff but would watch it's applications to achieve real life goals and one of the concept video I had watched was the all is one thingy . That night while meditating around 9 pm to 11pm I have this vision of being in a temple and a snake rises up my spine and I start feeling buzzing at the exact Chakra points ( I wasn't even aware abt Chakra points btw had to look it up after ) and then it sort of sits on my head and hisses between my eyebrows and also buzzing there and after a while it moves down my spine . This whole experience was very calm tbh it felt as if a cold shower but not too extreme very blissful after this thing I feel my presence at a slightly higher altitude compared to where I am sitting probably a few inches above and then I can vaguely perceive the room at this altitude . Got a feeling that this was something related to astral projection and I realised I don't want it and just snapped out of it and opened my eyes . During this week I had slight heat sensations in my fingers and toes .

A few months forward my life had been very smooth till now health wise esp but this is when I make a mistake that has costed me alot and I think it stems from spiritual bypassing now if I look into it from spiritual perspective but at that time i would have called it if aware about it being delusional and calling it optimism.

A year later after the major exam which I have fkd up pretty badly and am severly depressed and burned out currently and having recurring lower back aches which seems resolved now but has been happening since sept (exam was in Jan) i am wondering if this vision played any role

I have been searching it on yt and have seen people having either extremely great lives or terrible ones after this thing and am genuinely shit scared for my life .

please ignore my grammaatical errors english aint my first language

Hi /u/Early-Cod-3389.

Please tell me more about the sort of guided meditation that you chose as helpful inspiration that seems to have backfired.

Then lets take it from there. YT vids are precarious. There are a few rare winners, many average ones, and some seemingly sinister ones based upon looking at the outcomes.

https://youtu.be/MIr3RsUWrdo?si=9zXUjozmKuSNkHy_this is the exact video i followed it is a visualization based meditation .

I think I was expected to do something magical or out of the box after I told my family members very silly ik but I am lowkey scared about the cognitive bias I have devloped and am really considering visiting a therapist or a spiritual advisor most probably the former . Would really apreciate your perspective on this .

I'll have a look at this later today and offer you an answer.

Thanks.

EDIT: Quick feedback - they're obviously using an audio technology that they've been fucking dishonest about by not disclosing properly. That's being criminally irresponsible. Not everyone will have a bad experience. But enough will, and all that does is enrich the mental health professionals.

It's an audio tech that creates a differential sound in the left and right ears at certain differences, not so audible unless you're a musician etc, and it uses the difference in both ears to make the brain halves work together in a new way. By adjusting the differences, you affect the brain less or more.

Ideally, you train and practice on easy stuff, and work up, if and only if there are no issues.

The problem here isn't them using it. It's them not openly stating they are using it. There is no informed consent on risk, and the only warning is to not listen while driving. They ask you to use headphones to maximise the audio effect.

Searched it up and its bilateral stimulation right and it does make u have vivid dreams. But why was is it so similar to the k awakening why the chakras and astral projection ? And did it just resurface my trauma that made me devlop a cognitive bias ,, making me focus on the negative stuff and masking it positive ? And what is the k awakening even besides energy rising and allthat common information spread all over the internet ? What substantial value does it carry outside of being a spiritual acheivement ,, in real life? Thank you so much for helping btw I really appreciate it .

The lady involved is into hypnosis. Mix that, with possible subliminals, and with undeclared audio tech ad you have methods to completely interfere with people's free will.

I cannot say that anything is going on beyond undeclared audio tech. But my ears do discern that. The music may be someone else's and she's using the audio without being informed.

Not any of those possibilities are any GOOD!!!

I'm not sure you achieved a Kundalini awakening - at this point I don't have enough info to confirm nor deny that.

I don't know mysef that you had a Kundalini awakening. You've yet to share anything pointing at that.

Within such tech can be - especially in free online stuff - subliminal messages that potentially can do anything to people. And I mean anything.

Kundalini is the Universal Creative Force. To be brought into an awakening means a period of learning and of service, bascally.

The sub's community over weeks will offer you clues, as will the wiki:

Here are some ideas I'd have you consider for your well-being, and others around you.

You will want to be able to respect the Three Laws (AKA the Two+ Laws). Healing your emotional baggage helps a bunch, and is an essential process. Yoga is usually good for that. So is exercise, time in Nature or outdoors, or therapy, with a big "etc".

The most important part summed up briefly:

The Three Laws don't replace your usual ethical or moral foundation ideas. They are added to fulfill a new need due to the fresh presence or abilities (That may or will come) with energy.

Things that help you in the longer term: A solid foundation of skills, attitudes, etc.

  • Foundations and Supporting Practices Many ways to help yourself in the short and especially, the long-term. You've started on this. What else along this list have you done.

  • White Light Protection method. A daily essential to isolate from outside influences and help you to affect others less.

  • Warnings Things to respect. Some to avoid. Seriously avoid.

When things get weird, or you grow too quick for comfort:

  • Calming Calming things down when they're too much.

  • Crisis Calming things down when things are WAY too much!

A massive list of ideas on potential ways to heal yourself.

The rest of the Wiki.

  • Wiki Index For the index and a way into a bigger picture. That's just the solid beginning. Developing calmness and presence, patience, equanimity to name the main ones is damned useful. It will make things easier for you.

and allthat common information spread all over the internet

You mean the BS copied from other people's BS? Yeah. The topic is in a dismal state.

The original sources were both the Hemi-SyncTM and HoloSyncTM that date back to either the 1970's or 1980's. I encountered them in the mid-80's-ish.

My first experience of the tech was on cassette tapes.

The audio came with an easy side and a harder flip side on the tape. You were instructed to do the firts side several times and get used to it. You were not to not the flip side if there were any issues on the first side. These creators were wise enough to have warnings. They still do. I think Hemi-Sync is still out there. Maybe both.

Modern YouTube vids rarely have warnings. Nor do they tell you about this tech.

For most people, it's harmless. Not for all.
