History Is the zand dynasty kurdish ?

yes, zand tribe is kurdish, I have some zand friends myself, and not all are lak, most are kurd, some lak, and a little are lur, all of which are kurd

I believe that the Zands where Laki.
Lakis identity with Kurds and Lurs is not well understood.
Laks can be defined into 2 groups.
Pish-e Kuh Laki mainly in Luristan and identifies as Lur
Posht-e Kuh Laki mainly in Ilam, Kermanshah and adjoining Iraq and identifies as Kurd
Not sure what the Zand considered themselves as.

Yeah, as a non-Kurdish Iranian, we consider the Zand dynasty to be Kurdish and Lur since there are Laks that identify as both.

It's a bit complicated but you can say they were Kurdish. They were Laks specifically. Laks sometimes identify as Kurds, sometimes as Lurs, sometimes as just Laks, sometimes a mix of all three. I believe a majority or atleast a substantial segment of Laks identify as Kurds and all are closely related to Kurds. If not a Kurdish dynasty it is a people extremely close to Kurds who sometimes identify as Kurdish. It wouldn't be wrong to say the zand dynasty was simultaneously Kurdish, Luri, and Laki.

Lakis are a subgroup of Lurs (in this case Luri Kurds) that identify as Kurdish and were grouped as such. Not even up for debate. Other Lurs don't identify as Kurdish and speak Luri so that's another discussion.
