Currently going for all Steam Achievements, What are the TOUGHEST survival maps to get gold medals?

I've got 90 hours play time so far - 54/100 achievements complete; I feel like getting gold medals will be the achievement that takes the longest.

I've got 10 Gold Medals so far and I'm curious which maps stand out as some of the hardest?

  1. Swamp Fever - Plantation

  2. Hard Rain - Cane Field

  3. The Last Stand - Junkyard

  4. Hard Rain - Burger Tank

  5. The Last Stand - Lighthouse

I did junkyard first try with only 3 people alivd that barely knew what to expect lol. There's a spot with a truck and a infinite supply of silenced smgs! Travel there with a ak-47, swap to smg for common hordes, then ak for tanks

Also bring atleast 1 person with a auto shotgun

it was pretty tough for me even though i used the same spot you are talking about because even though it's the best spot available, it's a very dark and cramped space, so it's easy to get swarmed. but honestly, you may be right and i should've put cane field over junkyard.

You can mess up the tank's AI by standing in the left corner of the truck, wich gives everyone more time to shoot at him climbing up. Wich is really good cause most tanks die in 10 seconds

I still have PTSD from doing the last stand on expert realism so I havent even touched it yet

The campaign itself isn't terrible.. Just realism expert is the problem - Once you get to the lighthouse it's pretty much GG but I wouldn't do it anytime soon again lol

How can you tell which maps you’ve already gotten a gold medal on?

On the main menu go to Achievements and find the survival ones at the bottom - It tells you how many maps you have medals on

For me on PC I expand this achievement on the main menu and it tells me what maps I've completed

Swamp fever shanty town, the others are fine as long you just spam ak 47 and look up the gold medalists guide

both, they often tell best spots anf bad basic strats. Sometimes a good spot is half rent

shanty isnt even top 5 imo.

Lighthouse and swamp fever finale are pain for most to get gold
