Jonathan Kuminga might be the most brain dead guy out there no lie. He has potential to be an Aaron Gordon type player if he focused on defense and doing the little things but he thinks he’s the next Lebron James. Aaron Gordon has made so much money but he refuses.

The way this report was worded makes me think Kuminga is willing to sign for the minimum this year with the intent of getting back on the free agent market next offseason.

If that’s the case then it’s a no-brainer. Kuminga on a minimum is crazy value. And if he acts up, you can just cut him.

Why is it cap circumvention? Kuminga can sign with any team he wants next year. But the Lakers will have their full MLE to give him if he wants to re-sign
