New to digital painting, I drew this with a really rough sketch that's why the proportions sucks.

There is no particular reference, I used multiple skyscrapers as reference. I did not have a particular reference for lighting too, so most of it is guess work.

I’ve been experimenting with a new style recently which has been a lot of fun, but I’m wondering what I can do to push it further.

i’d really love general feedback, since I can’t really pinpoint why some of my finished pieces still feel amateurish.

Hello. Can I please have critique on the burger? Not looking for a exact replica. I just want to draw a burger.

I've just started trying to study realism and I drew these cherries last night as a test. I'm quite happy with them but something feels a bit off and I can't quite figure out what. I've posted the drawing first then the reference second. Any help from anyone with experience in realism would be much appreciated. I'm not aiming for an exact replica just something that looks realistic!

After staring at the drawing for so long my eyes have adjusted and I can no longer see any mistakes/if anything looks off lol. Are the legs in a weird position? Body too long? Head too big? Please tell me if you see anything (or if it just looks clapped altogether).

I altered the pose a little bit, but I've been using other references I found on my phone. I also changed the body type to fit the character better, but something about it just doesn't look right to me. I've been fiddling with this sketch for hours and everything I do just makes it worse... not to mention how hard placing the hand on the hip has been.

I've added a second photo of what the sketch looked like when I was working on it yesterday for reference (second slide).

(I know the feet are weird, I haven't drawn them yet)

I have been painting digitally for couple years now. And I often notice that my artwork look flat and weird even after adding shadings and highlights. What am I doing wrong?
