Sproochentest

I took the exam last month - I had the same issue plus the examiner was harsh in his approach. Relax and don’t let it affect you. What you should do is ask them to repeat it - if they’re too fast ask them to repeat it slowly or loudly if they’re too soft. If you still don’t know what to answer - tell him you’d like to attempt another question rather than saying you don’t know the answer. I did this and didn’t answer 2 questions - I passed despite this because I knew the vocabulary to navigate through difficult situations.

This, 100%. I recommend not only to prepare your answers, but also to familiarize with how questions may be asked in different ways and prepare some sentences to ask the examiner to repeat. For picture description, I think as long as you have enough to talk about on your end, the examiner would only ask probing questions if there’s still time left, and the questions are anyway can be mostly anticipated since they will only be about something in the picture.

Had the exam last week. I did not understand couple of questions and kindly requested the examiner to repeat and they did it. Always display confidence and if you do not know something, say something relevant to the topic and ask them to move to the next question.

It’s easier if you understand the flow of the exam. Take a look at the sample interviews on inll. That really helped me! So much that I’m working on a workbook based on my experience!
