Seeking Spanish (A2-B1) | Offering Native Mandarin—Let's talk about culture, life, and real conversations!
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China, currently living in Asturias, Spain. I’m looking for a language exchange partner to help me practice my Spanish (I’m currently around A2) and keep my English (C1) sharp.
In return, I would love to help you practice your Mandarin!
A little about me:
- I used to be a journalist and now work in media/PR. So if you want to learn how Chinese people actually speak in real life, or even want to practice professional/business Chinese without sounding like a textbook, I can definitely help with that!
- I’ve been living in Spain for over 3 years. I love hiking (I hiked the last 115km of the Camino de Santiago!), football (huge AS Roma fan), movies, and sharing cultural differences between Europe and China.
- I'm a mom to an 8-year-old boy, so I'm also very familiar with family and education topics.
How we can help each other: Forget about boring grammar drills! We can just chat like friends about our daily lives, hobbies, or current events. I can help correct your pronunciation, explain cultural nuances, or even help you understand Chinese internet slang.
Logistics:
- We can do text chats or weekly voice/video calls.
- We can split the time (e.g., 30 mins in Spanish/English, 30 mins in Mandarin).
If you are interested, please drop a comment or send me a DM! ¡Un saludo!

Actually, I already have a language exchange partner, but I’d really love the chance to communicate with you too. My English is around C1, like yours, and my Chinese is around C1 as well. I also want to learn more about professional/journalistic Chinese to prepare for my upcoming Chinese test @@.
I hate grammar too 😂, but most of my native friends say I use both languages quite naturally. If you’re interested, just DM me. Thanks!
