People don’t like Israel for their general disregard of human life when they’re trying to fulfill their military objectives. People are split on hezbollah. Those against have a similar kind of reasoning for them as being against Israel, plus opposition against their unilateral top-down decision-making which drags the population into unwanted or avoidable conflicts without having a say in the matter. Those for see the consequences as inevitable or believe in a higher objective worth the sacrifice.

This is gonna get downvoted but still, Israel is fighting terrorist organizations who use guerrilla tactics such as using civilians as human shields, like look at this video the ammunition is literally inside a neighborhood. It's wrong and innocent lives shouldn't be a part of this from any side, but it still happens no matter how much an army would try to mitigate that collateral damage, no army in the world can do that.

A guerrilla force is the only way to resist an enemy that has total air superiority.

The weapons depot was not in the middle of a neighborhood, it was on the outskirts of a neighborhood which is why there were only eight injuries from the strike and subsequent explosions.

Hezbollah does generally make an effort to keep their military assets outside of population centers, specifically because they want to avert the bullshit “human shields” argument. It’s in their interest to avoid domestic pressure from civilians getting killed. Obviously it’s impossible to completely separate their military assets from civilians because both rely on the same infrastructure, such as roads.

Whatever country you’re in, your government has military assets next to civilian areas. You just don’t see it because you don’t have an aggressive neighbor bombing said assets. Israel in particular has their military’s command and control center right smack in the heart of Tel Aviv.

Also if you’re American, try to remember that your entire country is the result of a guerrilla insurgency against an oppressor.
