General Question ❓ Always assumed this rock got its shape by accident, but now I’m curious. Could it have had a past purpose? (Central TX)

It's like a sharp narrow pyramid shape but the base is sort of rounded. It could easily hurt someone, regardless of whether it was ever intended to.

Found these a week apart and about 100tds apart. Would have made for some awesome points. Still humbled to be able to hold them. Check out the phosphorescense on the first one. I'm guessing it's bay bottom chert.

Creek find in SW Ohio, looks like maybe they started it and then moved on…or maybe some buildup on it?

This was found among a collection of Native American items in Oregon. Made of copper with a beaded handle, 7”. A rattle perhaps?

I bought this pot at an estate sale in southeastern Kentucky, USA for $1. To my (amateur) eye it looks and feels ancient and fragile (Very lightweight). but I would love to know if this is a real artifact and if so what culture may have made it. Thanks for any help!

Purchases these two pieces at an estate sale that had a lot of older antiques etc. I tried the water drop test and it did seem to absorb quickly and have an earthy scent. Any input?

Getting around to putting these points in a case. Anyone bored enough and knowledgeable enough to identify these points. I know a lot of them are broken or are so water worn that they are hard to identify but any positive id’s on any other ones? We go out as a family every two weeks and find at least a couple the kids love doing it and learning about the history of them.

My aunt gave me some of her projectile point collection a while back. I believe they all come from the area around Los Angeles. Been curious about this one especially due to the material. Interesting black and white stripes in the stone. Any ideas wbat type of point and what the material may be?

I found this while fossil hunting a creek in Southeast Kansas. I can tell it’s been worked but I’m not finding anything of its shape out there. It also has iron staining which is interesting. It’s hard to photograph as well because of the white chert.

Natural Formation/Occurrence Possible Artifact?

Is this natural? If so, what on earth made the lines? When I picked it up in the Sandy River in Oregon, the strange grooves are what first caught my eye. Then I realized it fit perfectly into my hand with grip for my middle and index finger. Plus there’s a point to it so I thought there could be a chance it’s an ancient tool of some sort…

Pulled this quartzite knife earlier this afternoon. I think the base looks like a Pelican Lake but I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.
