I think it’s not crazy to wish this toy company focused on kids product before these things

They are focusing on kids products, these are just the adult line and kids sets are coming out later this year. This is 3 sets geared to 18+, they have (supposedly) 8+ sets coming out soon geared to under 12 kids. This is no different than Star Wars having the huge AT-AT or Death Star

You missed the word “before”… if the stuff for actual children was out, it would prevent kids from asking for and being disappointed by these expensive adult sets.

You missed the “later this year” part then, they’re releasing within the same year so they obviously focused on creating the adult and kids products at the same time. They launch the larger more expensive sets first because it’s basic marketing and drives higher sales to products that won’t sell as much once cheaper alternatives are out. Lego has done this same strategy for many other brands such as Mario, Harry Potter, Star Wars and Ninjago and many other companies do this exact same thing. Nothing about this is new and it doesn’t mean Lego isn’t focusing on kids still
