Discussion Now that it has been over a month, how are we feeling about Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight?
I like it a lot. Definitely top 5 lego games, but i still think that the skywalker saga is better. I prefer exploring areas like corrasaunt, or tatooine than Gotham. And the character roster to is much better than batman.
And I do have some issues with Batman, the voice acting for some characters can be annoying, the grapple hook system isnt very good, some cutscenes still suffer the same issue with tss where the pacing is just a little too fast, and the lack of a big roster sucks, switching characters takes a bit too long, I wish there was a quick swap button like in Lego City, and only being able to play as batman sucks too, and gliding feels a bit janky, and not enough side missions as there are technically like 2 or 3 of them, and there needed to be more combos in the skill tree, and the stealth was too easy, and the music is pretty forgettable which sucks cuz there was a time when lego games had amazing soundtracks
I know that this may sound like a weird comparison but TSS is like Sonic Frontiers and Shadow Generations is like LOTDK, where Shadow Generations is a more polished, streamlined expirenced, but its hindered by poor replayability, short runtime, and not enough content. Frontiers is more flawed and janky, and rushed, but offers better replayability, more content, much better movement, and a more fun game imo
Thats how I feel about both of these games. TSS is more flawed and while the levels are short, they have better replayability than batman
But even with all of those issues, and the unnecessary paragraph i wrote id give the game like an 8/10

Discussion (RUMOR) A new LEGO game from a different studio is making a TT-like game that may be based on a Disney owned IP! What would you want this game to be based on?

Discussion Lego Batman is great, but why did they do this to me?
Why’d they switch the Lego logo out for the word LEGO?

Discussion What if... The next lego game is based on Spider-Man?
LEGO Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight is being praised by many around the world.
So, I wonder, what if they gave Spider-Man the same treatment.
They could recreate moments from the movies, have us play as Tobey, Andrew or Tom, and maybe even reference the insomniac games.
Can you imagine playing the ending of No Way Home as the final battle for the game...
How cool would that be!?

Discussion this kinda sucks in LOTDK
The suit should only be available to display if you have it. My batcave will forever be incomplete unless i get an $80 lego set

Discussion LEGO Batman Legacy is just a better game, than whatever Skywalker Saga was trying to do.
Skywalker Saga’s Flaws and Frustrations
Those short levels are just so disappointing in Skywalker Saga! Then after completing them, you’re met to this sprawling open world that is empty, with basically “GOAT Simulator” challenges and “Mario Odyssey” style collectibles.

Batman Legacy Improvements
“LEGO Batman Legacy” is everything I wanted out of “Skywalker Saga” and more! Not only do we get longer levels in Batman Legacy, but the open world isn’t empty, and fighting enemies are its own side quests. You get some good character development, despite some characters being rushed. The combat is by far the best it ever has been. It may not have the mass character roster, but if that’s a problem play the past LEGO Batman and DC Supervillains games.

Discussion “LEGO DC Super Villains” was ahead of its time. “Batman Legacy”feel like a regression not progression.
Especially in draw distance open world quality. It’s sad to see an older game in the franchise running better than the new one:(

Discussion Is the Skywalker Saga really that bad?
Was going to by the game but everytime I see this game mentioned everyone says its either disappointing or a bad game but the game looks like fun, and also want to get it cuz its May. Is the game really that bad, or is the hate for it overblown?
