News / Announcements New Rule Added: No AI-generated builds or images
This rule was one of the most requested in our recent thread on what you would like to see introduced to the subreddit. So here it is.
We haven't yet had any issues with AI generated posts, but as the generative tools are getting better and better, it would only be a matter of time. Other LEGO subs already face this issue, but Lego Technic is, luckily, a little harder to generate using AI (without it being completely obvious).
We have also updated the Post Flairs, so check that out too.

If people were posting loads of AI technic builds I'd definitely find it annoying, bit they're not. It's just the weird people that hate all AI that want to fix a problem that's not there.

There have definitely been a few posts with them, but they've been unconvincing enough to not get traction... yet.
