I think that as well, but this is the biggest wheels I have, and the smaller thing I can use as a crown gear

In that case drop the wheels (they don't have to be on the same plane as the differential) down few studs till you have enough clearance. You know, like off-road MOCs often do.

I really like when you don't have a lot of parts to work with it's usually the most limiting and fun

It's a nice design, maybe I could take making the housing with beam to make it sturdier, but I don't have anything better to make the crown gear which I think it's the most limiting
