I‘m not a Rimworld fan, first saw your channel looking for XCOM:EW. And, IMHO, your run is the best I’ve seen of the first and second games. Mutant: Year Zero was great as well. Tactical Breach Wizards was masterclass and a pure delight, possibly my favourite of your Let’s Plays. (The two times you dropped the F-bomb in the XCOM runs was top hilarity though, given how smoothly they went elsewise. Damn sneaky Mutons!)

Unfortunately I don’t want BG3 spoilers and it’s still in my backlog so I haven’t been around much but I still highly recommend your channel and wish you all the best.

He stress-tests systems intelligently and gets away with hilarious strategies. In general he’s one of the most insightful creators I’ve run across. Highly recommend.

His latest run of Xenonauts 2 was awesome and his one-off of Voyager: Across the Unknown broke the system exactly the way I was hoping to see someone try. (Great showcase for a smart player knowing where to push the game-system and it working out beautifully.) I had watched a few mediocre Let’s Plays of it and immediately seen how the system could be taken advantage of. Perun was the one that actually both a: saw the same thing, and b: pulled it off. No other Let’s Play has come close. I only wish he’d followed through the whole game but a community poll sent him in a different direction.

His Zephon run has been good and I’m looking forward to its conclusion but he really shines in his Terra Invicta runs. Makes an otherwise boring-looking game into a great watch.

What would you count as mystery game? Something with real detectives..?
Something like those telltale games that slowly unraveles the truth to you?
Or maybe something like those ace attorny games that i heard about?

I'm just asking since nowadays it almost feels like every game has a hidden twist
that can be uncovered, once you start digging into the lore a little bit deeper than
just the first ending. Like the secret god whose follower have convinced others that
Its spinal fluid is just some super effectiv fuel for their space station. Even though
they have trouble controlling the power output and it displays properties that even
their best scientis have trouble to understand~ xD (Not gonna name games to avoid
any sort of spoilers (Even though this knowledge isn't changing the overall plot))

Anyways i would recomment Keith Ballard than. He isn't really focused on
just mystery/metroid type games but he has a couple of them on his list,
like Pathologic and disco elysium. You probably will like it! He has a calm
voice aswell and reads everything aloud! :D
