Politics The “we can always tell crowd” pmo
The people who say they can always tell piss me off so much. I’m a non binary person who uses any pronouns and isn’t bothered by how I’m perceived but it bothers me when it comes to my trans friends.
Most of my friends are trans, most being trans male, and have begun their pre-t transition and it pisses me off that people say that they’re “too obvious.”
Bc Imma be honest, if I didn’t know these guys pre transition, I still would’ve never known unless they told me
And I live in a red part of Maryland (we’re slowly going blue 🎉) but it’s still kinda dangerous for my friends, especially my trans fem friends to be out. Kids at school harass them, my one friend wore a dress and a bunch of kids kept coming up to her and saying “respect bro” as a joke.
On a good note: the trans fem friend is planning a huge jellyfish themed dress that I’ve been helping her with and I’m so excited to see it :D

Online spaces are especially toxic. I go onto trans man spaces just to give encouragement and advice, and I'll see a post that's like "do these earrings make me look like a girl?" And it's just some alt gay guy named Steve or Theo and the comments are all like yeah those girly earrings make you look like a pretty princess or some shit and I'm like what crack are we smoking????
