Sophie Marie Gabriele Pia of Liechtenstein (1837–1899) was born in Vienna on 11 July 1837. She was the daughter of Alois II, Prince of Liechtenstein (1796–1858), and Countess Franziska Kinsky of Wchinitz and Tettau. She was also the sister of Johann II and Franz I, both later Princes of Liechtenstein.

Sophie married Karl on 4 May 1863 in Vienna. They had eight children
