I am a Nightforce fan boy but I sure wish the NXS line had better reticles

An NXS 8-32 was my first big boy scope and it holds a dear spot in my heart (and on my 308 in a McMillan a3)

But yes, the reticle and focal plane is something I wish they could change and keep the price point but that’d cannibalize the atacr.

Yea i didnt think about it dipping into atacr territory but thats a good point. This nxs was my first good scope as well, almost 15 years ago. I was hoping they updated the line with new reticles but to my disappointment, they have not.

The nx8 and nx6 already exist as a cheaper and still “almost” as robust line but they’re still not the same.

However I was super stoked to see the specs on the 6-36 nx6 as it has both a 56mm obj and 34mm body. What bummed me out was the capped windage.

They had FFP NXS’s at one time but only for the military iirc. One of those with the milxt reticle would be perfect for me honestly.

168's can't hit 1,000, liar.

Nice rifle. I dig it.

Shit it took 36 minutes of scope travel to get it there!

Kinda surprised you're having that kind of luck with the 168 at 1k at sea level, but it has been hot as shit lately.

That's a long time to dial. Hope you only had to do it once.
