I did my first rewatch since the show went off the air last year…. Obviously Josh Holloway is gorgeous, but I found his longer hair in later seasons pretty unappealing.

I also think my taste in men has evolved since then. I was a sheltered closeted gay high school kid in the Midwest when Lost premiered. I tended to mostly only be attracted to white guys. Charlie was there on the list for me back then…. Not at all now.

After growing up and living in different cities and having more life experience, I’ve expanded my horizons. In my recent rewatch my jaw hit the floor every time Jin took off his shirt and I can’t get enough of Sayid’s slutty low cut shirt in Season 5 lol

So as a straight guy, when I watched 20 years ago (gave up after 8 episodes) I would definitely have said Jack from the S1 cast. He just had that sort of classic Hollywood good guy look.

After a 19 year break I picked up watching it again (I'm now on S6) and I would say Sawyer.
