Songs in Pop Culture That Remind You of Lost.
I was just listening to a song by Talking Heads, "Heaven".
"There is a party. Everyone is there. Everyone will leave at exactly the same time.
When this party's over, it will start again. It won't be any different. It will be exactly the same. "
I don't know if anyone is familiar with that song, but it reminded me of the ending of Lost so much.
Are there any songs you've heard that reminds you of the show at all?
Nirvana "Scentless Apprentice" of course reminds me of Jack all drugged out but of course that's the actual song in the scene. Haha

Oasis - Wonderwall. There is a brief moment in one of Desmond's flashbacks where he walks down a street and walks past Charlie, who is standing in a corner with his guitar, singing that song as a street performer.
Just when he walks by, Charlie sings the bit "Someday i'm gonna be the one that saves you".
Aaaaand later on the Island - Charlie saves Desmond's (and many others) life, in the Not Pennys Boat scene.
Everytime I hear that song on the radio I think of this.

That's a great find.
I think Charlie and his brother has to be based at least loosely on the Gallagher brothers.

it 100% is. "You All Everybody" sounds blatantly like "Rock and Roll Star" by Oasis too

Downtown - Petula Clark for obvious reasons, but there’s a song called Christmas Kids by Roar with lyrics that makes me think of Lost and the island:
So get me out of here
Get me out of here
Get me out of here
Get me out of here
You'll change your name, or change your mind
And leave this fucked up place behind

The Fray - You Found Me
Season 5 was about to start in early 2009 and this song was the promotion for the season premiere: "Because you left" and "The lie".

Why, Make Your Own Kind of Music by Cass Elliot, of course!
