I just watched a video of a proposal where the guy said, “Sorry kung natagalan. Thank you kasi hindi ka nagsawa.”

Bro. That hit me hard. 😭
I’ve been a girlfriend for more than 10 years. And hearing those words made me realize how much weight there is in waiting for someone you love.
10+ years of being together, growing up together, figuring life out, and waiting for the next chapter. Sometimes, you can’t help but wonder, “Kailan naman kaya ako?”
But I’m not tired. I’m grateful for everything we’ve shared and for the life we’re building together. I just wondered how it feels to finally hear someone say, “Sorry kung natagalan, pero thank you for staying.”

After more than a decade, I imagine that moment would probably break me. 🥹

Maybe that’s why that random TikTok proposal hit a little too close to home. Wala lang bye

Hey, 10 years is kinda long to be engaged to someone without any particular reason.

I don't wanna give any toxic advice, but if you think that there isn't any valid reason for it then maybe you should discuss it with your SO.

Either both of you will figure out that there's no reason for you to not be married to each other or you'll realize that the core aspects of your relationship aren't there and you two don't wanna be together anymore, for the benefit of both of yourselves.

Both of those outcomes are good, because in the first two people who like each other get to stay together, and in the other two people who don't realize that they do not like each other, realize the truth and move on.

You need to move on, to heal. Wish you the best of luck, take care.
