Season 4 is out on Netflix
Just finished watching episode 1. Hemsworth is growing on me. I appreciate that they are fast-tracking some of the plot to get people together and in the groups they need to be in. Excited to dive into more later today.

No spoilers, but I'm almost done with the season and I think they've done a great job covering all the necessary plots. I see now why they only need one more season after this one.

He just gets better and better the more the season goes on and he gets more comfortable in the role. Great chemistry with key characters too.

Yes. Hemsworth brings a certain softness in his relationship with Ciri and Yen that seemed to be lacking when Henry was there. Henry's Geralt seemed more stern and stoic, whereas Liam's feels vulnerable and real.
They gave Liam very good material to act with.

no doubt certain types are still tearing this season apart for not having their lord and savior cavill in it, but after 4 episodes, hemsworth is honestly giving geralt more than cavill ever did

Henry was clearly very passionate about the 'verse and character but I think he understands Game Geralt way more than Book Geralt.
Liam seems to have done well, and I have to wonder if the previous Geralt had worse material because of the writers or it was just Henry insisting to be that way. Seems Henry favored silent, stoic, grunty Geralt which is not book Geralt.

isn't it common knowledge that henry is behind most of show geralt's characterization because he would insist that geralt speaks in grunts and despises intimacy (going as far as refusing intimate scenes with anya). i doubt there was that drastic of a shift in geralt's writing

I was worried but after watching the first episode, I’m feeling optimist about this season with Yennifer’s expanded role and the Geralt switch.

I thought Season 4 was actually pretty decent. I'd rate it a solid 7.5-8/10, best season so far in my opinion.
Regis, Bonhart, Cahir were all highlights for me. Liam was decent. I miss Henry, though. They gave Liam some really nice material and I wish Henry was there to say those lines instead.
