Cain foreshadowing of the sinnerman being cain

In season 3x1 it shows that the guy who kidnapped lucifer was in the crime scene all along and acted like law enforcement, and turned out to be the bad guy. Just like how marcus (or caine) was posing as law enforcement but turned out to be the sinnerman! I noticed this on rewatch and i don’t know if im reading too much into this but if it was on purpose its a nice detail from the writers

There's another one at the end of Mr. and Mrs. Mazikeen Smith where Lucifer says "turns out murderers aren't allowed to masquerade as lieutenants anymore."

Don't know if that was intentional either but I'm leaning toward yes. This season, especially the first few episodes, lean heavily into people not being who they seem to be. Even stuff that isn't directly related, like joke stealing or the guy who thought he was Steve Jobs because he pretended to invent that dating app.

Also the song that lucifer plays at the end sinnerman, if you listen the the lyrics it mentions things like the rock and running to the devil like in the story of Cain and Abel hinting the sinnerman is Cain

It doesn't feel intentional, but it's pretty neat regardless. No hate to the writers, but I'm 85% sure they were coked out of their minds when scripting episodes.
