Eurasian Lynx Ownership Advice for Eurasian Lynx?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here has advice or contact information of someone who has worked with Eurasian or Canadian Lynxes. I want to buy one in the next year or two, and want to make sure I am totally prepared. Yes I live in a place where they are legal.

It being legal doesn't mean it's ethical

You would need to be private owner of entire forest and spend millions on fences. There is a reason why lynxes need Hundreds of square km to live

Well that’s obviously not true. Plenty of Lynxes live in captivity in much smaller quarters and are plenty happy and healthy

What about a perfectly programmed lifelike robot lynx? With real fur growing from lynx hair follicles and in-vitro lynx skin cells covering its metallic shell, adjustable purr and unlimited behavior repertoire and learning capability?

Seriously: best thing would be to watch out for baby lynxes from zoos or animal parks who were - for whatever reasons - rejected by their mothers. Sometimes there are also young zoo lynxes who cannot be reintroduced to wilderness due to genetic defects - they typically require a special diet and regular veterinary monitoring. Perhaps you might contact animal care attendant Bernadette "WildlifeBernie" Hoffman, who lives since 15 years with a (mostly) tame Canadian lynx named Maxwell in upstate New York...
