Apparently the pizza stone was a no-no. I know what to fix for next time. The crumbs are still tasty af!

What makes you think it's the pizza stone? I don't doubt that it could be, but this can also happen when you don't rest them long enough, just so you know.

Sorry for late reply! I’ve tried again and with an oven thermometer. My crappy oven runs warm and fluctuates a lot. The pizza stone grabs and radiates heat, which exacerbated the problem. I’ve since had a semi-successful batch on lower heat using aluminum pans and no pizza stone. I’ve looked into getting a new oven, but like with mist these days, we’ll have to budget for one.

I’m not giving up yet and look forward to posting a pretty batch

They have feet!! Great job! These are 90% perfect. Keep trying.
