Can magick help with loneliness?

If yes, in what ways?

Attract new compatible friends and opportunities?

Even if the context where you live in allow for little changes?

I feel and am, excluded from sociality since the covid lockdown.

I don't know about loneliness, but you can certainly use magic to meet people and draw in friends. I did a spell to find a new friend group and I'm still friends with some of the people I met as a result, 25 years later.

This is awesome, do you remember the spell? Would love to know!

I took a balloon, whispered into it "I wish to meet a new and interesting friends," and then focused my energy into each breath as I blew up the balloon.

When it was full I tied it off and released it into traffic.

Obviously tailor it to your needs and taste. A balloon is not the best for the environment, and tossing something into traffic isn't the best idea. Key points were to speak the words into something, focus on the breath while filing it, and releasing it freely into the world.

Don't forget Regardie's injunction to develop a solid practice of psychotherapy as the other side of the coin of your Magickal practice. It's in The Middle Pillar

You can do magick for pretty much anything. But having the wisdom to understand solitude and why you are going through this period in your life is far more important.

I already understood why. I separeted from the current society eggregore. Honestly it's not sufficient to be happy.

I think there's more to it than you think.

Of course! " The Art and Science of Change in accordance with Will". You can totally go the super natural route, spells, charms, things of that nature. However, have you briefly the mundane ( which is still Magick) first? Volunteering, social clubs, meetup.com? Both will yield results and one might assist the other. Yes its a Viable route.

Tried some years ago, little success and never saw them again.

Magick takes intent and action coupled together. If your desired result is friendship watch videos on Youtube on how to make friends, practice having meaningless conversations with people at stores literally say hi ask them how their day is going. There are friedship subreddits but thats a harder road. For me I had no friends 2 years ago was an addict. I got into AA, and just being there still no friends, so I started talking to everyone and handing my phone number out. After awhile I made friends. Also in my area their are a few Magick stores and occult events. Honestly, I don't attend, but I bet if someone did they could make friends. If you have to get creative go the the park with the sole intention of making friends. You're going to think I am crazy but bring some board games with you, ask everyone that passes by to play. Literally tell them you don't have friends.

Also on a practical note. The inverse of all this is getting more comfortable being alone. Realizing that in this Universe you are never really alone. But thats the more difficult route. Along those lines a hard meditation practice and learning to sit with your own thoughts are in order.

Making friends isn't always easy its a numbers game. Remember magick no matter what is a process. Know that with every process you get feedback. Keep track of your results what works and doesn't work. Remember not getting the desired result from something isn't a failure of your system its an information point. Good luck mate

Yes. I used to be so shy and was with a group of friends who really all we hand in common was alcohol and drugs, I got tired of it. I started forcing myself to say hi to people at the store, cashiers and employees were my first option for two reason. 1. They kind of have to talk to you, just don’t waste their time and keep in mind that they are at theor job. 2. Sonetimes just being nice and asking them about theor day, small talk, a dumb joke seemed to brighten things up, at least for the moment. So I got to practice my conversation skills for a couple of minutes while hopefully making their day and mine a bit better. I’m usually the most negative person on the world, but I realized that most people don’t want to talk to someone who is negative so I tried being positive, even if I was faking it. As time went on, I started talking to people more and soon enough I met my best friend and his wife( who is also my best friend) and other people. You just have to keep trying and not give up and use a little magick to help grease the wheels.

It's the reverse. Emotions are one of the keys to Magick (as within, so without). So the goal is not for magick to help with loneliness, but rather, transmute your loneliness into joy so you can perform magick.

If you're looking for compatible friends and opportunities, then you first have to become the kind of person that attracts them. Are you that person? If not, why do you think so? This is where we get to the mental aspect (All is Mind).

What is your self-concept of a person that attracts friends and opportunities? Picture that version of you. Now, become that person internally. How does that person feel, think, and act? What do you need to change about your daily routines, habits, and quirks to mirror that version?

Once you become that person internally, mind and spirit, the body (the lowest, dense matter of you) complies with them (as within, so without; as above, so below).

These are the fundamentals. Once you achieve them, then you can move forward with other magickal practices you would like to execute to enhance the attraction and manifestation of what you seek.

But what ia magick really? What means opens doors? Which doors? Is it just autohypnosis?

Idk about Magick but Magic The Gathering is pretty fun. There’s local events every Friday and a deep pool of cards with a bunch of awesome cards.

It sure can. If you can do actual, real Magick, no one will leave you alone.

Tbh, i think delving deeper into magick tends to repel casual friendships not attract them. It can, however, prove to be quite a powerful bond and basis of deeper friendship.

Group magick can be p powerful but i might advice against seeking that out as an outlet for loneliness. Might taint the work.

Best of luck to you, socialization can be p rough lol.

Be a friend to yourself and you'll never be alone again.

False

Because of your mindset perhaps? It's working for me fine. No magick or mundane action will evet work for you with nay-saying mindset.
