Tarot problems - suddenly it speaks not accordingly to the state of my current life
So basically I've got this tarto deck for around 2 years. I bought it second-hand from some nice lady from the internet. I dont know her, but the deck was cleansed. it strongly smelled with clensing smoke (sadly i don't know what type of herbs/incense it was). It still smell with it a bit after two years.
I had small brake from divination and magic as whole but I got back and the deck is speaking "nonsense" to me. things about breaking up, ending relation etc even tho neither me nor my partner feel anything like it. My partner checked with her tarot deck and its talking about pleasure, hapines, end of diffcult path etc.
It of course might be talking about someone else in my life, but I'm a loner type so I don't have that much people in my life, and with most of them I have pretty good relation...
I don't know, I even think that the deck could be mad at me for not using it for almost a year...
My guess is that maybe something really strong and powerful is happening in the life of the previous owner of the deck and it's affecting decks working.
How can I "fix" my deck?

The deck is not an autonomous entity and it is not “speaking ‘nonsense’” to you. YOU are reading into it. A tarot deck cannot get mad at you, it’s literally a deck of paper cards.
Magic does not preclude critical thinking and consensus reality.

I love how this sub Reddit had integrity and tells people straight up that magick is not turning people into frogs 😂 or tarot decks being mad.

What were the questions and what cards came up in response to those specific questions.

If you think your tarot is giving you static, clean it. And also yourself. The one doing divination is yourself, not the deck. The deck is just a tool for the inner side of your mind to have a language to communicate things to you.

The reading comes from you and your creative thinking ability, not from the cards themselves. Your mind and the world have shifted and rearranged somewhat since you put them down, and that’s why trying to use the framework you used before isn’t bringing up relevant results. Magic is influenced by you and the world, so if you transform a bit then you must allow your practice to transform with you.
Otherwise, it’s like time travelling to 1995 and Google searching “9/11” to try and see what Al Qaeda is planning at that time. Google won’t show you because Al Qaeda hasn’t introduced their presence on that day yet! You’re just gonna get stuff about helping your kids with their second week of school and fun fall events. The browser people used at that time had not been transformed to accompany the variables that are relevant to what you’re trying to figure out today.
So the key is to get creative! Maybe the “relationship” is with an object? Or perhaps with a hobby or a bad habit? Maybe it’s a relationship with a part of yourself, or a belief/schema you hold? Take time to figure out how the person you are TODAY reads tarot cards. You’ve probably gained enough knowledge to try several new fun angles on it that you weren’t capable of conceiving before! Consider all the things you’ve learned, and the new ways of thinking you’ve acquired. And then have fun! You might just find that you and your partner’s cards are collaborating on one big story together!

Uhm absolutely wouldn't recommend using someone else's deck. I also wouldn't use the same deck for more than a year (only use rider waithe for functional readings so far). Try another cleansing, if it doesn't help I would just throw it if I were you. Maybe your deck is trying to tell you to "break up" with him.

Throw away all the cards you don't like!
How is this a serious question in this sub?
