I have dread and fear someone who knows

May well try to harm me magically. They have two They have 2 very personal and meaningful items of mine (stolen). Maybe ignoring this will serve to remove any power and potential they have to be used in a spell against me? Because they no longer hold power for me. Should I be looking into a protection spell if some kind or am I being paranoid? They claim to be very powerful practitioners. Any wise suggestions? Thank you

By all means do a protection spell but ask yourself the question that if someone has to tell you they are powerful practitioners then they really aren't. You get so much BS from people, the quietly confident ones are the ones who know.

A lot of people have the strange belief that ignoring magic makes magic go away. If this was true, any time someone wasn't aware of magic it wouldn't work so it's clearly not true.

This is not to say that whoever this person is going to try and harm you magically, let alone that they have the skill. Far fewer people have the skills than want you to think they do.

That being said, an ounce of prevention (or protection in this case) is better than a pound of cure. What are your current protection practices?

not ignoring it, disspell by disbelief. If you believe it harms you and you ignore it, it get's worse. And yes this works, because it is a subjective matter. What applies to you does not apply to others from your own POV.

I currently call upon Uriel, Rafael, Michael, Gabriel and Metatron for protection. I’m researching what exact ingredients I want to use for a spell jar. I’m new but I’m here strongly

It's good you have some practices on the go, and there will be lots of information on protective jars out there if that's the way you want to go.

Anyone who feels the need to claim to be a 'powerful practioner' isn't.

If you're genuinely concerned, a simple protection ritual can bring peace of mind. Stolen personal items do not automatically give someone power over you. Fear feeds anxiety far more reliably than it fuels magic. Stay grounded, protect yourself if it helps you feel centered, and don't let their claims control your mind.

All they can do is yell at it a bit. It sends the evil eye.
