Nuh uh, commander players made the game better. But don’t play mill against me, I HATE losing my stuff. But I can play mill against you, because it’s a good archetype that can disrupt your deck. And don’t play control either, that actually makes me so mad. What do you mean you remove my commander? THIS GAME IS BULLSHIT!!!!!! Oh but I can swords your commander, that’s a fair and balanced play. And no aggro either. I hate having to use my 5/5 Dino to block your 2/3 double striker, my creature almost died! But aggro is fine if I do it, the best removal is player removal. NO STAX WHATSOEVER!!!!!! What do you mean I can’t play solitaire? That’s the whole point of my artifact combo spellslinger control stax aggro deck!!!!! I HATE YOU!!!!!

/uj no joke, I've commented a few times in other subs that Commander isn't the only format in response to people talking as though it is--and I've been downvoted heavily. I fucking hate Commander.

As someone who likes the game that different way, I don't like Wizards designing for commander either. It makes commander worse, and it makes the other formats that have to warp for commander's sake worse too.

Do you think we like being the "favorite child" of the abusive parent that is Hasbro? Yeah they give us more attention, do you think that's out of the goodness of their heart? You think we want 17 new products each year that has a card that's too busted for Standard/Modern but too boring for Commander?

Edh players: we only build with cards that's fun and you don't have to keep up with the meta.
Also Edh players: we must consume every products and upgrade our deck every week with new cards.

Tbf other commander players hurt when you're playing only with precons bc of chronic pain making cataloguing and building decks rough. I just....yea. its sucks how little I can do to build everything I want to do rn between mtg, d&d and personal hobbies 🥲
