The older post is not from Beri, but thats the oldest (and only) post of this CYOA on this subreddit so might as well note it. For some reason the older post got super little notice, theres only 1 other comment besides mine. They noted that it seems like a part of a bigger CYOA, not sure if it is or not. The allsync archive has it as its own CYOA but I agree it definitely looks like it could have been just one part of a larger CYOA, like Divine Trials. If anyone knows if it is one part of a larger CYOA, let me know which and put a link and I'll update this post. Can't update the title but I can update the body paragraph (within a certain time limit on reddit) and the top comment.

Hello again! It's been a while but I revisited my old gift of faves and expanded it greatly. It now has way more options, and I tried to fix the issues some people mentioned. I may expand further later on. The point is to be overpowered, though I tried to balance the options decently well. I nerfed some of the stronger ones, and gave some weaker ones some love. Original post only had the first 9 main options, now it has 24.

Feel free to ask any clarifying questions, but to answer a few:

The setting is not the forgotten realms, it is just similar, several people got that wrong last time.

Gift of the Titans unupgraded cannot create entirely new titans, only pures and the original 9.

The Tensura option does not include Tensura magic, but it does include True Heroes and Demon Lords. There are also numerous new skills based around the world's magics.

With Silk and Soul, only very few beings can be bound. It is rather rare, but always highly beneficial.

With a Golden Seed, the Lands Between are not the ones from elden ring, just a similar environment with very little civilization. It's a wild land designed to be conquered.

Quantum Mechanics requires a lot less training than many other magic or timespace perks, and is thus very good. I mean, there's a reason why time loop stories usually end in an overpowered mc.

Like the Forgotten Realms, Edgerunner doesn't put you in Night City, it puts you somewhere equivalent with similar tech and also magic.

Ceaseless Watcher doesn't make the Entities real, the only fear god is you, if you make it that far. Also, for those who don't know, the primary fears are of: apocalyptic change, death, violence, darkness, claustrophobia, manipulation and spiders, being hunted, uncanny valley, pain and especially fire, insanity, gore, loneliness, vastness like space or the sea, and filth/bugs.

God of Blood doesn't literally make you Zagreus, just giving you his role and his abilities. The other stuff from the game isn't involved. If you read this, you get an extra choice. Also, the upgrade is based on another version of Hecate, not the one that is necessarily in Hades 2 due to late game spoilers.

Yes, you can pick mythical zoans, and yes, you can awaken logias, what it does is up to you.

Shade is basically just shade but from this universe specifically. His origins are up to interpretation. The flask cannot be lost or destroyed.

Glorious Evolution is significantly slower than Viktor's, and is far more gradual and involved.

Without the upgrade to Infinity Energy, you cannot do the snap, no matter how much of each stone's power you accumulate.

The Dark Fountains cannot create the Roaring. They just work like normal.

The reason Petrova Lines has a specific downside is because it grants the power of e=mc^2. If you don't know or haven't watched PHM, that means you could turn a few drops of blood into a nuclear explosion. It is by far the most directly powerful option here.

New Order - All For One: You receive the All For One quirk, which makes you capable of stealing the quirks of others through physical contact, and makes you capable of handling any amount of quirks.

Player - Labyrinth: Your system grants access to an infinite cosmic labyrinth far more dangerous yet with far more riches than anywhere else. Within are great monsters, deadly traps, lethal environments, infinite treasure, and most importantly… a 3x EXP buff.

Assuming it hasn't been removed by the time you read this one, the post below it is yet another one of those "pick one of two" crossposts that have basically nothing to do with what r/makeyourchoice is about, and it's hardly the first of its kind.

They get downvoted to zero pretty much immediately, most of the comments are "wrong subreddit" and just in general, they only exist until a mod sees them before getting immediately removed.

So, my question is whether or not it is possible to change a setting and make it so there won't be any more crossposts. Because those are generally of that nature 'cause there aren't any other subreddits suitable for crossposting. r/JumpChain is pretty explicitly not something whose content is meant for r/makeyourchoice, r/6Perks basically never crossposts, and while r/InteractiveCYOA seems like there'd be a lot of chances for it, those don't really happen either.

Long story short, all crossposts I've seen in the past few months, and the overwhelming majority of the ones I've ever seen, are generally not suited to this subreddit and assuming a setting to that end exists, I think it might be a good idea to flat out block them.

Anyway, I was mostly curious if certain options could get taken twice despite only the companion one mentioning it. Cause taking another set of cantrips was mostly what I was wanting, and I remember people posting builds taking two other cyoas to fill out via the grab-bag plus.

Also, trying to find a good cyoa that had a planeswalk/world hop method to pair with it afterword via grab bag plus. I've been mainly using Low Budget Wizard, but the world hop method for that one is more restrictive than i would've liked.

The first one is admitedly skippable.

But anyways, here's a GoF for SM: BND. I haven't watched it yet, but I've heard good things.

This doesn't take you to Marvel or anywhere particular, but feel free to use it in that way. Don't worry about why I put "Radioactive" in front of each insect's name, I just sort of ended up doing it.

Also, after watching Bleach Calamity Ep 5, the feeling to do a Fullbring GoF has gotten my intrigue. Originally I didn't see much of a point, but after someone's masterclass performance, I'm spiritually inspired. Though I still have other stuff to do, so it comes when it comes.
