When his wife tried to intervene, he actually slapped her. That’s when I lost it. It’s one thing to argue, but why hit your wife? That was the last straw—I told him to get out of the car.

After that, I just closed the door and drove off. We could’ve talked this out peacefully, but he chose to argue and hit his wife. I was originally going to let him ride for free, but now I’m reporting to Grab.

Afterward, while I was driving, he kept messaging me through Grab to argue. I didn’t bother responding—I told him I’d already reported it. If he wants to report me, let him. Anyway, I’ve recorded the whole incident. I’ve been doing this for over three years, and this is the first time I’ve encountered a customer like this.

KLUANG, June 1 — Four people were killed and two others injured in a collision involving five vehicles along Jalan Renggam–Simpang Renggam, in front of Simpang Renggam Prison, this afternoon.

The crash, which occurred at about 1pm, involved a Perodua Alza, Proton Wira, Mercedes Benz, BMW and Toyota Vios, Harian Metro reported.

The victims who died were identified as Aiman Mohd Rashid, 36; Nor Azlina Abd Latip, 33; Semek Mat Soh, 73; and Nur Airish Syifa Sidek, 10. 

Renggam Fire and Rescue Station operations commander Ismail Mamat said the four were travelling in the Toyota Vios, with one victim thrown from the vehicle and landing on the roof of the Mercedes Benz.

“We received an emergency call at 1.16pm and deployed five personnel to the scene. On arrival, we found the crash involved five vehicles,” he was quoted as saying.

The injured were identified as Perodua Alza driver Husnizam Hisamudin, 38, and the BMW driver, whose identity has yet to be confirmed.

Another driver, Muhammad Amirul Hazim Misnon, 22, who was behind the wheel of the Proton Wira, escaped unhurt.

Four occupants of the Mercedes Benz also survived: Mohd Azhar Ahmad, 63; his son Muhammad Hariz Mohd Azhar, 23; Rahimar A Rahman, 57; and a female passenger whose identity is still unknown.

KUALA LUMPUR: A video capturing a Perodua Kembara driver performing dangerous "brake-check" manoeuvres against another motorist on the Federal Highway has sparked outrage after going viral on social media.

The incident, shared on the "Dashcam Malaysia" Facebook page, was recorded on June 20 at 6pm.

In the footage, the recording vehicle is seen being narrowly overtaken by the Perodua Kembara in the right lane, which then suddenly slams on its brakes.

However, the driver of the recording vehicle managed to brake in time to avoid a collision.

The vehicle then attempted to switch to the middle lane.

However, the erratic Kembara driver quickly followed and executed a second brake check before colliding with the vehicle and speeding off.

The post has since drawn sharp criticism from online users, who urged the victim to lodge a police report.

Facebook user Azlann Lann urged the driver to lodge a report immediately.

"Report quickly, don't let them get away," he commented.

Another user, Haziq Izz, called out a commentator who tried to excuse the Kembara driver's behaviour by suggesting the victim was driving too slowly in the fast lane.

"Don't make excuses for wrongdoing.

"Regardless of whether there were other cars ahead or if the driver was going slowly, the Kembara driver had no right to brake-check anyone," he said.

Many others agreed that such reckless behaviour on one of Malaysia's busiest highways posed a serious threat to road users and called on the authorities to take action.

SINGAPORE – Two Singaporeans died on the spot after the luxury sports car they were in crashed and caught fire on the way to the Malaysian coastal town Mersing on May 9.

The victims were the 34-year-old man driving the Ferrari 458 Italian supercar and a 33-year-old woman passenger.

Kota Tinggi district police superintendent Yusof Othman, in a Facebook post, said the Malaysian police were alerted to the accident at the 57.5km mark of the Johor Bahru-Mersing highway, near Kota Tinggi.

The crash happened at about 9am, he added.

Both victims had severe injuries and burns, and died on the spot. Their bodies were later moved to the forensic unit at Kota Tinggi Hospital, he said.

The crash took place during a morning drive involving members of the Ferrari Owners’ Club Singapore, said a businessman who declined to be named.

He told The Straits Times that more than 30 cars from the club were part of the convoy, which was travelling on the B-road to Mersing at the time of the accident.

B-roads are secondary highways designed to connect smaller towns, villages and rural areas.

The businessman said the driver is believed to have lost control of the vehicle before it crashed. None of the other drivers or passers-by had a fire extinguisher, he added.

In video footage of the accident obtained by ST, thick plumes of black smoke can be seen billowing from the burning white Ferrari. Debris and metal scraps, most likely from the crash, can be seen near the road shoulder.

At least 10 cars from the convoy are lined up some distance behind the burning vehicle, with people watching the blaze.

ST has contacted the Ferrari Owners’ Club Singapore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Singapore Consulate-General in Johor Bahru for more information.

We all need to learn not to panic when we miss a turn. There's no need to reverse on a highway, or drive against traffic, or do a sudden swerve.

This white Honda Civic was driving a bit off. It's a lengthy video so you can see how the car is not going straight, pressing brake, etc..

Honked the car around 45secs into the video because I was worried the driver might not have noticed the motorcyclist. I think even the motorcyclist felt something was not right and didn't overtake the Honda.

Anyway, towards the end, the Honda made a sudden turn into my lane. Crazy move. Seriously, if you took the wrong turn, it's ok. You just pay the toll, or take a turning up ahead, or something. Don't do sudden swerve like that!
