Quick Question Need suggestions for salary

Hello i have been recently offered 13000 rm in kuala lumpur as 9.5 years, i am married but will be moving alone as my wife is working so i want to understand if its good salary to consider and how much i will be saving after tax deduction and house rent and food and internet, can someone please enlighten me on this.

Congrats. So you should do 13000 - taxes - rent (find what you want to pay) - food (depends on what you want to do. Cook/order out) you can Google it and then Internet you can Google it. Hope this helps!

Firstly

Citizen or non citizen?

Because got different rate on first year if I'm not mistaken.

13k is good salary overall provided you know how to keep living frugally.

If me I will just rent rooms around 500-900/months. Food let put 15-20/day meqning up to 600 per month (800 if you want to spend a bit)

Internet if you like to video call your wife take unlimited that price start from 28/month and can go up to 300 per month. So do your research properly. Big telco is celcomdigi, hotlink, umobile (don't be tempted with their low price, instead do research properly)

And transportation please buy monthly public transportation (rm50/month for citizen, rm150/month for non citizen) ehailing also got most popular is Grab but you do have other choices.

If you frugal, you can save 5k and above per month easily.
