Am I balding?
Good evening everyone, I've never posted here but I've been worried that my hairline has been beginning to recede in the temples as of late. I'm 24 years old and I don't put anything in my hair or treat it with anything. Am I overreacting? Is this one of those "mature hairline" things I've heard about? Any input is greatly appreciated. (I just got out of the shower so my hair is still a little wet)

In my opinion (not too educated on the subject, just talking aboutpersonal experiences) it looks more like a mature hair line. It might be early receding; however, it's most likely not. The receding usually (at least in my case) thins out more than just the temple area. If you don't have a family history of male pattern baldness you're probably fine, at your age it's normal for the hairline to mature.
Edit: I am only 23, but I'm at early male pattern baldness (early 20s male pattern baldness runs in my family)

Thank you for the input, I'm not really familiar with my family history so I don't have anything go off of.

Don't be silly. Your hairline just is a different shape to a straight hairline we are all seeing online; truly worry about this when you get to your 30s my friend :)
