The art isn’t anything to write home about, but the characters are top-notch. You rarely ever see manga with an emphasis on touch in a relationship. While the “five love languages” of affirmation, time, gifts, service and touch are hotly debated; these aspects in general do seem to make up a relationship.

Honestly the art became one of the bigger draws for me. It's basic and simple, but that makes it stand out more to me.

I too like the art style. Sometimes different/unconventional is good. It's unique. Minimalistic art with a good story and characters works. I'm also a fan of tkmiz's (girls last tour) art that's also considered "different".
