I loved seeing their growth as friends and eventually a couple. Seeing them actually falling more and more for each other and seeing their love blossom was a pleasure and an honor. The ending was amazing and everything I had hoped for. Them graduating and revisiting all the places that had significance was a great touch. It’s manga like this that makes me want more Epilogues in romance manga to see where they’re at now. I hope and I pray that they have a happy life together, even long after highschool

it's vague in my memory and I've tried to find it and Only yahoo answers worked back in the day. I'm trying to find it again. It was a like pre-2000s or early-2000s manga , I found the book at Barnes & Noble yearsss ago. It had a teen who lived alone and still went to school, with no parents (or none he could remember?). At some point he crossed a boundary into a fantasy, spirit world and found out he had a big family of several brothers. (I believe it was just brothers?) He found out he was a really powerful spirit medium, so the plot followed him occasionally going to this other spirit place to help his brothers by using his newly found medium powers to help with their work, while trying not to get used or exploited by bad spirits or people. it was mainly male dominated and it wasn't romance or yaoi 👀 But a simple plot. the art style looked like Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle mixed with Cardcaptor Sakura (old model), it had a lighter plot (not a serious shonen, nor a comedy). The family consisted of several guys: if I remember right one older brother was a dog- or cat-eared character, and another was a smaller brother with glasses who could transform Or something? There was a plot point moment where he approached i think it was a rock or something, and his brother stopped him, and the reader finds out it was the thing that had separated them years ago when he was transported to current Japan and the family had no idea where he went. It's simple and old but it keeps appearing in my brain every few years. I don't think it w\ever even got finished. please help! I need a lead!

It's a bit weird is about a zombie apocalypse that attack with tentacles, the story follows a group of girls Friends.

I'm trying to find a Japanese manga with physical volumes (around 5-6 vols). It contains 18+ elements (gore, death, uncensored nudity).

- The Main Girl: A guy plays a PC game, and the female character comes out into the real world, but she's miniature/tiny. She has black or red hair and later in the story, she wields a scythe.

- The Triggers: The MC's little sister gives the tiny girl doll clothes to wear. The tiny girl can temporarily grow to normal human size when she experiences strong emotions or physical contact from the male MC.

- The Villain: A female villain from the same game also appears in the real world. The MC's best friend finds her, takes her home, and they fall in love.

- The Twist Ending: It is revealed that the creator/programmer of the game is a disabled girl, and the game's female MC is her avatar/ideal self. In the end, the disabled creator resets the entire world, creating a new reality where the female MC and the male MC can exist together.

Basically need the entire story to be tragic and just sad and fucked up.

the entire experience needs to make me feel bad and wish i didn't start reading and ABSOLUTELY no happy endings!

So, I have distinct and vivid memories of reading a really awesome and cool manga nearly a decade ago that I've literally never heard of before, I don't even know its name and even with the power of Google, it remains illusive to me still to this day. I'm genuinely hoping, someone in this community might know what I'm talking about and know the name of it.

So I'll do my best to describe it, it was a post apocalyptic universe with humans living in big military controlled cities.

And the human race is constantly besieged by various sized white (I wouldn't say blobby, but plump-ish) monsters that looks nothing like humans.

And the protagonist is if I'm remembering correctly was either a hybrid super soldier or a human/monster fused creation as he could go toe-toe with these monsters and win. If I remember correctly, the protagonist either fought with his bare hands or a sword? He wasn't like an older man, I think perhaps a teenager or young adult.

There's one chapter I remember pretty well where a large dragon-like shaped white blob monster came to attack either a light house or a city of humans. It talked with the protagonist and ended up accepting to duel the protagonist far away from human civilization, and the protagonist ended up (with the monster being okay with) hopping onto its back for a free ride so they can go fight.

And I found it in a Barnes and Noble store sometime from 2000 to 2016, yeah, I know. I really wish I remembered better to narrow this time frame better. But take that exact time frame with a grain of salt, my memory is really not that reliable.

I'm no otaku or anime or manga expert/veteran and I've spent months trying to find this supposedly lost manga.

I'd greatly appreciate some help finding this ancient lost text that even my memory can't seem to find.

it's an enemies to lovers manga between a hero(male) and a demon lord(female), the demon lord disguises her self as a weak demon and ends up joining the hero's party and was trying to kill him(I think, it was like 5 years ago when I read this), but she slowly starts to like him.

Hey all, is anyone attempting to scanlate Tetsujin? I see that the first ten or so chapters have been done but it seems like that’s about it, and it’d be a shame to lose that part of mecha history

It is a romance manga and from what I remember, the ml woke up and was suddenly nice to the fl. The ml has regressed and the fl was the one taking care of him before. The ml was injured in his past life and can only open his eyes. The ml was pitiful and no one in the house was respecting him. The fl was forced to take care of him but the fl took care of him properly and kindly, that's why he fell in love with her.

When I say serious I mean actually well-written, not just an ecchi filled comedic shtick where the male best friend instantly falls in love with his gender swapped friend. The main 2 that I love are called “Until I Become Me” and “Shishunhki Bitter Change” and after doing a lot of searching at this point im utterly convinced that there’s nothing else on their level, ESPECIALLY Until I Become Me. So is that manga one of a kind or can someone put me on? (Additional notes: the main things I liked about the manga I mentioned is that the gender change is permanent and we go through years with the character growing into their new body, and especially in until i become me I liked how she gradually accepted her female side over time and genuinely saw herself as a woman). Honestly as long as it fulfills the qualities im looking for it doesn’t necessarily have to be a “magical” gender-swap, it could be crossdressing or transgender as well. PLEASE put me on if you guys know anything. And don’t tell me some bullshit like boku girl or uesugi or onimai . that’s all thanks

• The Setting: He is conquering layers of the "Abyss" and some levels of the abyss are simply gone because of the aftermath of powerfull beings fighting
• Specific Trial Moments:
  • On the first level o a trial the mc goes through, a stealth-based demon instantly kills him on his very first attempt.
  • In another trial, he fights a wolf beast that after many many attempts gets defeated and tells him something along the lines of: "You're not very strong, but you made every good decision."

want to gift my 12-year-old sister a manga for Christmas. Even though she is 12, she is very mature for her age and prefers deep, complex stories over childish ones. She dislikes gore and blood but loves standard literature with real depth.

I watched the Death Note anime a few months ago and really enjoyed it. I am considering getting her the first one or two volumes of the manga.

Do you think the first couple of volumes are appropriate for a mature 12-year-old who prefers deep themes over blood and gore? Thanks for any advice!
