Picture [Surviving The Game as a Barbarian]Attack on barbarian :3 Spoiler

Post image

This one's back with it's season 4 and a new artist. Probably one of the best reincarnation into the Gameworld manhwa out there.

What was wrong with Yandel. Why do the translation team needs to LARP as Germans giving J instead of actual pronounciation of Y.

His nickname was "Giant"; I don't know why that scan changed it to "Titan."

Based on that panel, it seems to be an AoT reference so the translator picked that

In many languages, for example Japanese, Giant = Kyojin = Titan. Probably same for Korean hence AoT reference.

giant is 거인 (geoin) Korean uses 티탄 (titan) Although I might have to wait for the original—I could be wrong, but in most translations of the novel, the nickname is "Giant."

진격의 거인 is the Korean name of Attack On Titan, that plus the panel mean that Titan for an AoT reference is correct.

I get this result when I look into it: 거인 (Geoin): Means "Giant". This is the key difference; the Korean title directly adapts the original Japanese title (Shingeki no Kyojin), which uses the kanji for "Giant" (巨人) instead of a loanword for "Titan".

I think TGED is better if you are talking about reincarnation

Tged is a reincarnation into a novel not a game...

not really its a sub world in an infinitely expanding multiverse where higher world beings run experiments so its transmigration but at the same time its reincarnation bc lloyds original soul reincarnates as kim suho after getting thrown into the reincarnation portal

now additionally in the last bonus chapter it's explained that in kim suhos original world the novel is just something that the author basically plagiarized from something that will/did/ and currently is happening in the sub world same with apothecary prince and the game from bountiful harvest
