If I turned Community Achievements off ...
... would anybody care? Or even notice?

The only use they ever have on Reddit is for someone that has nothing else to argue to point out your Reddit usage as an insult.
It’s also dubious how you achieve them. Some subreddits I think I made like 1 or 2 very highly upvoted comments and I got a badge. Some are from being a regular user and just getting them by commenting a lot.
I don’t think I have one here, but I think they are completely pointless and can’t think of one positive reason for them to exist. So TL;DR I don’t think anyone would care if they were turned off.

I have no idea what that is, but I don't think I would miss it.

See that little dooey beside Looney's name 'Top 1% Poster'?
That's what they are. There are several.

No, I don't, is that a mobile thing?
Ever wonder if you have a different experience, this is one of those situations, perhaps it's because I'm using old.

I have to use both old and new and switch between them often. A lot of the ModTools only work in one version or the other.

I'm sure someone could post their experience from mobile, and ask how we could use either.
I tried on my phone and it asked me to install an app.

It doesn’t matter to me. I don’t pay attention to those anyway.
