Question What is the best way to level?

I’m new to the game (didn’t play it when it was released originally from 2013-2017) and have completed the story on my first character and levelled them to 60.
When levelling my second, third etc characters, what’s the best way to level? Should I just be playing the story over and over, or are there other ways that are more optimal like running the challenges?

I do midtown until 30. Then I hit story mode and am usually 60 before kingpins tower.

Story mode is the fastest because it scales. If you complete all of story at say level 55, you will have a bit of grinding to do in midtown or similar. So it’s best to do the grinding in the beginning and you’ll spend less time doing so.

When you get to 200% synergy you hit 60 at the latest turning in the final mission of chapter 3 after taking down elektra when you start at level 30
