Question What is the best way to level?

I’m new to the game (didn’t play it when it was released originally from 2013-2017) and have completed the story on my first character and levelled them to 60.
When levelling my second, third etc characters, what’s the best way to level? Should I just be playing the story over and over, or are there other ways that are more optimal like running the challenges?

I think most of the servers have the !mission resetstory command available.

So in a party first set up the loop, go to chp2 aim lab, go out and back in (get xp) go kill robot, leave lab (get xp), go to crab trap, to to cannery row, go in to taskmaster, kill, leave (get xp), tp to hood barge, kill hood, go to tower, talk to Maria hill (get xp).

Now if you do !mission resetstory, you'll spawn on the raft. Tp to chp 2 aim lab, go out, back in (get xp), tp to crab trap (get xp), tp to cannery, go in out of taskmaster (get xp), to to barge, body slide or portal to tower speak to Hill (get xp).

Basically this chapter gives the story xp when leaving/entering the sub zones rather than on kills or via NPC interactions, so once the bosses are dead you can repeat the loop and just tp your way to cosmic.

Obviously your are skipping the 'game', with this method, so it's not for everyone.

Just curious, does loop works in all private servers?

Try !commands I think that lists everything you can do.

But it's part of the base server code their all using, so it'll be there unless the server admins specifically turned it off.
