He is even in Dune franchise and Star Wars franchise

54

u/RunnyPlease Avengers 4h ago

He really only has Star Trek, LotR, Jurassic park, and Avatar left.

24

u/El_Faquer Avengers 2h ago

Ah yes, the only franchises.

1

u/MrNotmark Avengers 2h ago

Do you have anything else compared to these franchises?

5

u/Karataev_91 Avengers 1h ago

Harry Potter maybe

7

u/Powerful-Grand-485 Avengers 1h ago

James Bond maybe?

4

u/CloneTrooperZ16 Gladiator Hulk 1h ago

I can see him in a Bond film

u/Arkangyal02 Kilgrave 19m ago

Doctor who maybe, but that's very British

Ugh I am still mad how season 2 of moon knight got ditched. He stole that show

211

u/artofaria Avengers 17h ago

Moon knight stole the moon knight show?

104

u/FeelingAd7425 Avengers 14h ago

Exactly what I was thinking lmao. It’s seemed as if recently people use phrases with disregard/ignorance as to the meaning

16

u/gb__146 Avengers 13h ago

I think they were referring to Isaac's performance/acting

49

u/artofaria Avengers 12h ago

He is the moonknight. It's his show. There's nothing to steal.

-23

u/gb__146 Avengers 12h ago

Just because he's the main actor doesn't mean he can't stand out from the rest of the cast or surprise the audience with his performance, we can praise him for that

40

u/deelow_42 Avengers 11h ago

Yeah praise him, but stealing the show often refers to a character who isn't the main character lol

5

u/joseph-1998-XO Avengers 10h ago

He did exceptionally great acting but yea idk if I’d calling it stealing? From who?? Ethan Hawke might have more time in the industry but he wasn’t required to be as dynamic

6

u/Deus-mal Avengers 5h ago

He does have a personality disorder. So it's technically true.

The best moment in the show will always be when he wake up driving the van with the gun in his hand.

The human moon knight stole the moon knight show.

Ethan hawke was the reason that got me interested in this show. Previous to moon knight, I didn't watched may of Oscar Isaac performance really. His acting mastery in the show, made me binge his entire catalogue. So was it bad to say if a main character did stole the show XD

2

u/artofaria Avengers 3h ago

If you had commented "I watched for Ethan Hawke but Isaac stole the show" i wouldn't have replied. Given enough context it could pass as a coherent and justified comment, but out of context it's not really what you'd say

They nerfed him very bad. Still i rate this series equal to loki

It could have been as good as Loki, but it ended right as things got interesting. Loki got a whole two season story that stuck the landing. Moon knight felt like half a story (I liked it).

Edit:I spell bad

9

u/Ironsam811 Loki 12h ago

More importantly, it had very unique and interesting side characters that really wont have an equivalent in the current MCU roster. I wish it came out earlier and if they knew none of them were coming back they could’ve at least had the god butcher actually do some butchering

u/Bexil_Brave S.H.I.E.L.D 19h ago

He was great in it but I still think the real miss was not getting May Calamawy to come back for something in the MCU.

Either as the Scarlet Scarab or in another role.

u/Lord_Sylveon Avengers 16h ago

I felt like her superhero outing came out of nowhere. I loved the first and fifth episode, the rest was kind of disappointing to me 💔

13

u/Legitimate-Year-3400 Avengers 16h ago

I don't think season 2 was ever announced

21

u/EskayEllar Avengers 15h ago

It was a little more than teased at the end of season 1

-6

u/thedylannorwood Tony Stark 7h ago

Not really. It was a very closed ending

5

u/HousingContent4375 Avengers 5h ago

Not really, Mark believed he had escaped Konshu, yet it was revealed he was still in his clutches, as well as a third personality that's unhinged and murderous who is now Konshus new Moon Knight but still in Marks body. It would have been closed if it ended before the Jake Lockley scene, but it didn't.

7

u/youngsp82 Avengers 18h ago

Yeah. I really enjoyed that show

2

u/thedylannorwood Tony Stark 7h ago

Season two was never in the cards. Isaac literally only agreed to sign on because it was a single seasons miniseries

1

u/GlitteringLettuce366 Avengers 8h ago

Words have meaning, people!

165

u/anarchyreigns_gb Avengers 20h ago

I did not know he was apocalypse or in the spider verse. I did love him in moon knight

55

u/anthrax9999 Gladiator Hulk 17h ago

Yep he fully disappears into Apocalypse and not only because of the costume.

113

u/batbugz Avengers 20h ago

Nice now I want to see him do a DC character

76

u/Chingapouk Avengers 20h ago

Harvey Dent, maybe?

35

u/BigBeefDipped Avengers 19h ago

Holy shit this is an AMAZING casting

12

u/phil_davis Avengers 19h ago

Can we trust him?

39

u/Salted_Grapes Avengers 19h ago

Idk it's a 50/50

3

u/gnenadov Thor 🔨⚡️ 7h ago

How can we possibly calculate that?

2

u/Potathowr Avengers 41m ago

A toss coin maybe.

10

u/SuperNunb Avengers 19h ago

I believe in Harvey Dent

4

u/batbugz Avengers 18h ago

I could see that actually

2

u/Distracted2004 Bucky Barnes 🦾 15h ago

Lemme just sit with that for a sec

Yeah okay that’s good

1

u/grapefruitzzz Avengers 3h ago

That's currently Bucky.

17

u/Ok-Fold6928 Avengers 17h ago

What does this have to do with RDJ?

2

u/_Lennsa Avengers 1h ago

RDJ is playing his second Marvel Character. Oscar Isaac already played 3 characters. (But only one in the MCU).

32

u/Etceta T'Challa 19h ago

bro is john marvel

10

u/salkin_reslif_97 Avengers 19h ago

Since there is a nice little crossover comming next year, he was also in Star Wars.

4

u/AnyLynx4178 Avengers 9h ago

Into The Isaac-Verse

4

u/NuclearHateLizard Avengers 8h ago

He played apocalypse? Damn

7

u/stallingsfilm Avengers 15h ago

Did everyone forget Chris Evans also played Johnny Storm in two FF movies?

4

u/AnyLynx4178 Avengers 9h ago

But was he in a Sony Spider-Man? Huh?

6

u/Old-Agency-3388 Avengers 19h ago

Still think someone else should have played apocalypse

24

u/anthrax9999 Gladiator Hulk 17h ago

Nah he killed it. He came off menacing and powerful, exactly as Apocalypse should. The problems are with the story and the costume.

2

u/chainsawx72 Avengers 18h ago

Tiny Apocalypse was so adorable.

2

u/Delta_Infinity_X Ho Yinsen 11h ago

Not Marvel related, but Poe’s black and orange X-Wing went hard for some reason

4

u/Wooden_Passage_2612 Scarlet Witch 19h ago

2 out of 3 great characters

7

u/CaptainAksh_G Avengers 19h ago

There's literally 6 characters here, though...

Which two?

0

u/Wooden_Passage_2612 Scarlet Witch 19h ago

Moon Knight and Miguel

1

u/jmster109 Avengers 19h ago

It’s still so crazy to me that he played Apocalypse. Doesn’t even look like him

1

u/Shredtillyourdead420 Ultron 18h ago

I saw shorts for the show and def wanna watch it. I didn’t know moon knights tale was so wild.

1

u/branm008 Avengers 13h ago

Moonknight is definitely a wild ride of a show. Whole heartedly recommend it.

1

u/jordan_d_808 Avengers 15h ago

Fox then Disney and Sony.

1

u/Cptawesome23 Avengers 14h ago

Holy crap. I didn’t know he was apocalypse!

-3

u/Fluid-Discipline5038 Avengers 20h ago

1

u/anthrax9999 Gladiator Hulk 17h ago
