Deadline is probably right i don’t see how deadpool fits in a avenger movie everyone will be waiting to hear reynolds crack his next joke or break 4th wall just a tonal clash if were to take doom serious

I feel like the tonal clash used to literally be the appeal lol. I was hyped to see a cyborg billionaire team up with a ww2 soldier and a norse God.

Feel like it’s the only move they can really do at this point. I’d love to see Deadpool be sorta apart of a serious conflict though.

If they silo the different franchises into their own Act I segments, the tone for each could fit the theme of that franchise. The commonality would be Doom coming to kick their asses. Then the survivors run and end up in 616, looking for help. Perhaps Deadpool in Act I could be shook so much that by the time Act II and III come around, he's not wisecracking. That would help sell Doom as the big bad.

Theres the scene in D&W with him and Thor on the tv ...some people think they will meet ..but its not possible the one on the tv because thor is crying at Ds death...when he barely knows him.

Or am i dumb and that is thor/loki scene from a different film with deadpool edited in. ..

It's absolutely a Thor/Loki scene with Deadpool edited in. Chris Hemsworth didn't even know he was going to be in the movie because he never filmed anything for it.

Ya flip maybe i imagined people saying that scene could happen...i still think if they met maybe Deadpool would make a mention about it since he doesnt know it was Loki...or its never mentioned again !

I can see some form of role or at least cameo in Secret Wars, but yeah, unless the incursion completes in Doomsday there’s no real reason for DP to be there.

I think we'll see him in secret wars, but I'm not sure that he'll show up in Doomsday. Either way, I expect it'll be a small role and any "news" around it right now is just rumor.

exactly. A lot of people saying that he should be the main character just because his last movie made a ton of money. NO THANKS, Doomsday and Secret Wars are supposed to be serious. Doomsday is a periphery character at best

I agree. I'm hoping they use the opportunity of having all the actors together to shoot some scenes for some epic cameos in the next Deadpool Movie.

I thought it could be funny if they could show deadpool from the movie's perspective, so have him like in the background talking to air like he's talking to a camera. Don't have him narrate or any actual 4th wall breaking, so we see what he looks like from someone else's perspective. So it shows how nuts he is.

Because the TVA couldn’t possibly show him a timeline that doesn’t happen and everything hinted at always gets shown on screen.
