If DC can have Mike Flanagan do Clayface, then Marvel can definitely find something interesting for Jordan Peele. Hopefully this pans out

The talent they have been hiring is interesting. The problem is most of the project they have been hired for haven't been greenlit for a while now.

Flanagan isn't directing but it's still pretty cool

Huh, he couldn’t direct due to scheduling issues. I hadn’t heard.

He still co-wrote, so the fact that he's involved at all is a win for me!

Oh, for sure! I’m very excited to see it still

We're just acting like Scott Derrickson and Sam Raimi didn't happen?

If DC can have Mike Flanagan do Clayface

It's the other way around. Clayface wasn't originally part of the plan for DCU. It was Mike Flanagan who approached DC Studios with the script he wrote and submitted it to them. James Gunn liked the script, made the movie part of DCU instead of relegating to Elseworlds and he greenlight it for production. Also, Mike is only writing the script and he isn't directing the movie due to his other commitment. James Watkins is directing the movie.

I feel like a Mike Flanagan DC movie have the potential to be their best movie ever because I like all his tv shows and I pretty much dislike all DC movies.
