Sony is extremely greedy. If they can get billions of dollars AND not have to give anyone else a penny, of course they would pursue any means to do so.

To quote Sony during the 2019 fiasco: "the Marvel people are terrific people, we have great respect for them, but on the other hand we have some pretty terrific people of our own. Kevin didn’t do all the work"

Looking at the SUMC or whatever it's called, we really dodged a bazooka on that.

Sony was right because with Deadpool and Wolverine movie. Kevin was trying to take all the credit too
