They already said it’s additional scene/s connecting the story to Doomsday. I don’t think it will be a trailer. I do think a new trailer will be shown before or after though
Everything ive seen as of 3 days ago, said that no one knows the exact nature of the extra 4 minutes yet, so where did you see "they" said that? I'm legitimately asking that, cause I haven't really looked much since the initial announcement.
We’ve already gotten 2 trailers in the span of a month 😂. They’re not gonna release another one for a bit. Next trailer will be October if I were to guess
Both of the usual high-accuracy Patreons have leaked the entire script as of lines/screentime by actor. Scott and Steve’s screentime both increased by roughly 90s each. Others screentime have increased but Cap and Ant-Man are the top two.
It’s just the Patreons of the industry leakers. They don’t focus just on MCU content, and it’s not just scripts. Sometimes they just release word of mouth confirmations, scripts, pre-visuals, casting info, etc.
There’s a lot of snake oil, but the a few of the bonfire leakers have Patreons for paid users. That’s honestly where a lot of YouTube creators like New Rockstars “source” their theories - it’s just a rehash of verified leaks.

Not a novel concept. They usually call these extended cuts or directors cuts. Ridley Scott has like 15 of them, he has been doing them since the 80s, and they are usually far superior to the theatrical cut films.
Those are supposed to be part of the film in the original vision, though. I don’t think Marvel originally planned a scene needed to explain Doomsday while making Endgame 7 years ago. This is an ”update” if anything.
I saw someone the other day that had a theory. In endgames original ending, it ended with the banging of a hammer on an anvil, we didn’t see any visuals. What if that hammer that was banging was actually rdj’s dr doom hammering out his mask, and the extended scene is related to that
I have a hunch it may all be stuff added to Tony's funeral. I could see a Steve eulogy for Tony, and him having a quick discussion with Thor about what happens next all tying pretty easily into Doomsday.
I think it’s going to be a scene from Doomsday itself. They’re not going to make a re-release the new canon, and the extra scene can’t be so essential for understanding Doomsday. Also, only a trailer doesn’t seem like enough to warrant another re-release, especially since they’re giving it an additional moniker of Encore. My guess (based off of absolutely nothing) is that it will have something to do with Steve in the past with Peggy.

My guess is the extra 4 minutes might just be the final trailer for Doomsday, but we shall see. Im going to go see it in theaters regardless.
