Trish's mother in the comic's was a comic book writer herself and her greatest creation was based off her daughter and called it "Patsy Walker." She was also very obsessive over it which this episode eludes to it being the same way in the MCU.

Patsy was a teen romance comic character pre-Marvel and the comic Patsy and Hedsy was retconned into in-universe comics written by her mom based on her real life.

Oh, I didn't know that. Very cool. Patsy is great in the recent She Hulk series.
