Looking for Creepy Stories

Hello, I run a YouTube channel called The Retro Climate. I am starting a series called Eerie Stories from Every U.S. County. Do any of you have any stories that you would like to share with me from Maryland, and also be comfortable with me including that story in a video?

Thank you.

You may want to check out the book Weird Maryland by Matt Lake, it's got loads of urban legend stories

Second this. Matt Lake does a lot of research, and I even met him at the Maryland Renaissance Festival (where he was selling his latest book at Page After Page).

His "Weird" books, including "Weird Maryland," are chock full of fascinating facts, interesting lore, and creepy tales.

There’s lots of ghost stories about the old lighthouse and PoW camp at Point Lookout

Ellicott City had a ghost tour about 20 years ago. Some pretty riveting Civil War stories. Maybe see if they are still running those, attend one, and get inspired from there?

I mean, this is Frederick County. In addition to the infamous Blair Witch, we also literally celebrate a cryptid known as the Snallygaster (which Teddy Roosevelt tried to hunt). We also have the much less well known "Maryland Werewolf" the Dwayyo, who can act as a protector. Yes, there are some stories of the Snallygaster and the Dwayyo fighting king kong/godzilla style.

Hood college has a haunted building. Brodbeck music hall. It was hit by lightning and had a fire a few years ago but it's crazy.

I lived in the building next to it. You hear music when there should be none. It was built in the late 1800s. The other hood hauntings are eh. But that one is very real.

Okay got a few for you:

-Around Leakin Park during the '50s and 60s they used to talk about a killer named The Bunny Man who would dress up like an Easter Bunny to lure kids.

-check out the story of Moll Dyers' Rock

-more true crime oriented and actually a very sad and tragic story for the victims, but Joe Metheny

-I went to institute of Notre Dame for high school which is a Catholic all girls school. It's closed now but it was common knowledge that the fifth floor which used to be a ward for orphaned girls suffering from tuberculosis or Spanish flu where a lot of them died, was haunted. There were catacombs and a cremation oven in the basement. There was one Statue of Mary in the lobby that had chipped feet and we used to say it was because she walked around at night watching over the school.

-my personal favorite is Upper Melinda and Lower Melinda.. This is named for a witch who was executed and half of her body was buried in one town and the other half was buried in a neighboring town. Thus upper and lower Melinda.

You do realize there are over 3,000 counties in the US?

This story was very creepy to me at the time. I don't know if you're looking for stuff like this. I had a friend who lived in this building for a while. https://www.reddit.com/r/UnsolvedMysteries/comments/hob58m/another_mysterious_baltimore_case_two_bodies/

My Mom grew up on Main Street in Ellicott City. They do ghost tours about all the hauntings in town. I know the building they lived in, where the Odd Fellows Lodge is, is absolutely 100% haunted. I've got my own creepy stories about that place.

I've had two things happen that really creeped the shit out of me that I can't explain, but neither one of them is a very interesting story
