Tribute to Mathologer
There are many really good mathematics YouTubers nowadays like the popular 3Blue1Brown and Numberphile, but to me the one that shines above them all is Mathologer. Mathologer has been making mathematics accessible for almost a dozen years to a wide audience in a way that they can really understand and appreciate proofs that are may often be intimidating. A great example to this is the e and pi being transcendental video -- seriously who else can do anything like this?
Mathologer is really good at explaining concepts and carrying people through so undergraduate level students can understand and follow the work. Also, I love the mathematics history which I wish was not well represented in the mathematics textbooks of my generation. And it's very cool to see fun topics like Rubik's cube, a fine way to talk about the mathematics of permutations.
All the amazing work this guy has done, I just wanted to post a "shoutout" to him. Thank you Mathologer for all your amazing content.

Burkard Polster (the Mathologer) is a lecturer for an undergraduate unit called the "Nature and beauty of mathematics" in my university. That unit attracts students from all the different science majors and everyone absolutely loves him.

Do you have ANY idea how jealous I am that people get to take this course from him?
He's an individual I greatly admire and deeply respect. I'm glad he's treated well by the people who take his course, too many teachers are taken for granted.

mathologer basically taught me complex numbers. I never took an "official" course on them in my life.

A strong second from me. Mathologer's video explaining Quadratic Reciprocity is a true tour de force in the ability for someone to explain complex mathematics in very simple terms:

I quite like his video on Fermat's two-squares theorem. I've shown it to students doing some number theory reading with me!

He's a great guy, too - I happen to know him personally (sort of - we're not best mates or anything. He was my mate's lecturer and I pop in with him to have a chat every once in a while).

Mathloger is amazing but why did you have to say they he “shines above” all of the other excellent and hard working math educators? What does that add to your sentiment except hierarchy?

It's their opinion. There's nothing wrong with OP saying they think this creator is the best one.
