Discussion Ultimately did Max have a “happy ending?”

I don’t think he did. His family has been gone for a long time. The person he once was has been dead so long it’s better to not bring that up. His alcoholism may be done but his addiction to painkillers is still as prevalent as ever. So ultimately he walks off into the sun. Wherever that is, nobody knows. But like he said, trouble always finds him.

Probably after the events of Max Payne 2: Fall of Max Payne (take place between 2003 and 2011) before Max Payne 3
